Johnny Faith Cashes In: A New Heartland Heavyweight Champion Is Crowned

Heartland Championship Wrestling had a shocking title change that nobody saw coming.

Johnny Faith is officially the new Heartland Heavyweight Champion after defeating Chance Carrigan in a moment that will go down as one of the biggest surprises in recent HCW history.

And he made it count.

From “Out of Luck” to On Top

Johnny Faith earned the Out of Luck Championship, a title that gave him the opportunity to cash it in for a championship opportunity of his choosing. Rather than wait for the perfect moment, Faith made his move when the Heartland Heavyweight Championship was within reach.

Standing across the ring was Chance Carrigan, the reigning Heartland Heavyweight Champion.
Carrigan had built his reign around proving that he belonged at the top of HCW. But on this night, Faith was determined to change the landscape of Heartland Championship Wrestling.

When the bell rang, there was no hesitation.

Faith went after Carrigan and fought with everything he had, knowing that this could be the opportunity of a lifetime.

Johnny Faith Gets the Three Count

After a hitting his patented "Grenade Launcher" maneuver on Carrigan, Johnny Faith managed to put Carrigan away and secure the three-count.

Johnny Faith had done it.

The Out of Luck Championship was cashed in.

The Heartland Heavyweight Championship was his.

The crowd erupted as Faith celebrated his biggest accomplishment yet, holding the championship high above his head.

For Carrigan, the loss marked the end of his time as Heartland Heavyweight Champion. For Faith, it marked the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
